Review on Niagara Cutter N46420 Roughing Finishing by Robert Espinoza

Works in seconds when others don't for hours

So I was trying to drill a new hole in my SOG knife for a thumb stud. They must have used really good quality steel (which should be real knife steel) because it completely destroyed a normal drill bit in seconds, slowly destroying the tip of my diamond drill bit (yes diamond is harder than steel but it's only as strong as used paste, although the diamond bit left a dent in the blade) and even performed well with a special set of M42 HSS bits that I bought specifically for the job. The M42 we have is probably as hard as the blade's steel, will endure hours of slow drilling but no advancement and just plain dull. All of this - and this Niagra-Cutter carbide drill bit cuts IN HONEST SECONDS, and it's clean too. Very impressive. This carbide drill bit will definitely work when you're working in hard steel (or whatever you're drilling if it's done on a drill press or CNC machine. I had no problem with it being too brittle. It was whole). When I received it, it didn't break when I picked it up and it wasn't dished or broken when I used it. I was cautious but not overly so.
