Suitable for hard maple.

We had hard maple that we were trying to split to make cabinet doors and our old ripping blade kept going through its bowl leaving spirals. As soon as the thing came in the mail I plugged it in and sliced through that tough maple like butter. No burn marks or spiral marks, this gave a nice clean glued edge. very worth your money.
