Review on SMONET Smart Deadbolt: App-Controlled Keyless Entry, 🔒 Fingerprint & Keypad Security Lock for Homes and Hotels by Cody Henry

This is my first review as I was very annoyed. It was a Christmas present for my husband. So we didn't install it right after delivery. The fingerprint scanner was finicky but not in the way. After the warranty expired, it broke completely in April. Batteries literally started to burn out. waste of money. UPDATE: The manufacturer sent a new lock. Most of the time this works, but sometimes the bolt doesn't fully retract. So it doesn't open immediately. Very annoying. What worries me the most about this product is that I made the mistake of putting my cell phone number on the warranty statement. These support staff are relentless. They call, text and email and keep asking me to change my bad review. I have blocked their numbers but they are calling from a different number. Sometimes they call late at night or at 5am. A nightmare. When purchasing this product, be aware that many of the bad reviews may have been changed to get rid of these reps.
