Review on 🚚 AMP Research 74815-01A Black BedXTender HD Max Truck Bed Extender: Compatible with 2007-2019 Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra 1500, 2500, 3500 & 2019 Silverado LD/Sierra Limited - Standard Bed by Timothy Wall

Pretty disappointed overall. I bought what I believe to be the best tailgate extension and some parts were lacking. I called and spoke to a representative but did not call back or attempt to resolve my issue. First, the kit did not include a template for the holes needed to install the brackets. With some ingenuity and my wife's help, we were able to figure out where to drill the holes and use painter's tape to help us. 3 hours and it's installed. Then I go to figure out how the latch straps connect to the tailgate to hold it. Cheap little plastic holders won't snap into my 2008 Silverado 1500 (yes I have the right model extension). They really never break. I've spoken to amp support in the next few business days as it was like "sorry" and I'll let the techs know that the latch isn't working on this model. I'll come up with something to fix it well, but it was a joke.
