I have a Wrangler '06 TJ and like all Wrangler fans, I have trouble locating the switches. This panel is a great design as it can be tailored to fit the TJ (although it wasn't designed for this purpose). If you cut the switch bezel to the same width as the plastic windshield side trim it will fit perfectly and have a nice finish. The cut end faces the windshield and is not cosmetically visible. You can use 4 OEM screws to fix it to make it look like OEM or alternatively use construction glue to glue it permanently. Be sure to cut the existing windshield to access the back of the switch plate. This is a simple mod and the switches are in a very accessible location. If you have an earlier model without the plastic trim around the windshield, you can fit a cut out switch bezel under the steering column. It also looks very presentable and shouldn't get in the way of your driving unless you tend to rest your knees on the dash on a regular basis. I don't have this problem and I have a CB radio installed in the dash under the steering column. I hope this helps another Wrangler driver having nightmares.
