Mandatory clamp for use with drill Parts and accessories

To use these drill guides, the user must position the device over the drill site and then clamp the drill guide. If the drill guide is not clamped, it is likely to move and eject the hole. In many cases it is very difficult to clamp the guide. For example in the middle of a large slab or in tight spaces. This severely limits the usefulness of this tool. The main problem is that the ground is slippery, making it difficult to keep the tool away from the rotary motion of the drill; therefore, the user must clamp the drill guide to avoid problems. It's also a bit tricky to position over where you want to drill. The line helps with alignment, but often that's not enough. Update: I figured out the best way to use this tool for my applications. First, I guide the auger (attached to the auger) through the hole, second, I place the auger on the center mark, third, while holding the auger, I press the guide against the tree, and then activate the auger. . This will keep the hole fairly straight. Use a splitting head or other non-slip bit and it will work on most wood surfaces without clamping. Smooth or inclined surfaces require clamping. When the metal drill stop on the drill touches the drill guide, it tries to rotate it by hand, so a clamp becomes necessary. Using masking tape solves this problem by making small changes in depth.
