Review on 🌈 Vibrant Printing: AMOLEN Multicolor Rainbow Printer Filament for Eye-Catching Designs by Chris Palmer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beautiful - Simple - Higher temperature required

This is the first metallic filament I have purchased and I am very satisfied. The luster and the colors are beautiful, the color change is very gradual. I will buy from this seller/manufacturer again. I've only been into 3D printing for about 2 weeks (so still a beginner) and have found this filament to be very easy to work with. A few notes: 1. As for the temperature, I chose 200/50 for the resin pot (last picture) and while the pot looks good, there are small imperfections throughout. It's still airtight, but the next pot I made from the same pattern wasn't. Someone mentioned that they thought the temp should be higher and I have to agree. See my next comment.2. The first 4 images show a more structured design that currently works. The bottom was done at 210/55 for the temp and is looking a little dirty. I opted for a slightly higher temperature as it was changing to a darker yarn and chose 215/55. It seems to have been the ideal temperature, as you can see there is less clutter in the top rows. In the future I will use the combination 215/55 no matter where the gradient is.3. I had to pull out and rethread the thread when starting the second pot (as in the 4th photo). It stopped loading and looked like the thread was too wide, but I wasn't sure. Maybe it was constipation or temperature. Since then I've printed three projects with no problems, so I'm guessing it wasn't the filament size. Yes, the color change is slow. I don't care, but I thought it was worth noting that small projects won't have big changes. Printer: Ender 5 Pro.
