Review on Norse Tradesman Viking Knife With Boar'S Head Hilt & Leather Sheath - 5.5" Carbon Steel Blade by Fredrick Edwards

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is purely handmade

I've read a number of reviews that criticize the appearance of the blade and the wrap of the leather around the handle. This knife is meant to be rough as hand forged usually is. I might even say that it is period perfect. I can't imagine Viking knives to be shiny and as razor sharp as high quality stamped manufactured knives we can buy today. This knife is unique. No others made by even the same person will be like another.I personally love this knife. It is going to be a gift to a person (an edged weapon collector) that appreciates what hand made truly means. A word about the sheath. It is beautiful and the knife fits securely. Don't hesitate to buy one of these.
