I replaced the plates and blades of two broken keyrings with this bowl. The first was incredibly frustrating. I didn't know anything about the screw and it was incredibly difficult to open. Sliding the key pin back and forth also causes pain. The 2nd keychain was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Steps to open 1) Remove the sticker above the logo, unscrew the nail 2) Pull out the battery case 3) Pull out the key blade so that it sticks out and use needle nose pliers (or similar tool) to guide it in the one gap you see on the key and lift to open it. (Don't worry about breaking anything, you'll be fine) Also, don't forget to turn the spring/key counter-clockwise when you put the cover back on, or the button won't work properly. Several YouTube videos show how to do this once you've swapped out your Google Chevy key fob.
