WILL NOT HOLD AT SET TEMPERATURE

Well I was impressed with this press and all it can do. And it was BLUE! But I set the temp to 350 and it kept going up. without stopping at the set temperature. I turned it off, took it off, opened the press to let it cool and let it sit for 5 minutes. came back and he smoked. blown. NOT RECOMMENDED!
