Bought this item for our small aquarium to warm up our Kenyan sand boa. Three weeks later I noticed that the thermometer reading in the tank was lower than it should have been. It turned out that the pad stopped working. I turned it off and let it sit for a while, twisted the knob and it turned back on. However, it keeps turning off, won't turn on, and doesn't maintain heat. I contacted the seller about the issue and was asked to provide product photos and more details. Remember this item came straight out of the box under the tank and has never been moved. Based on what I paid I decided it wasn't worth it and I will look for another company and not be so cheap next time.
