Ideal for almost 2 years of daily use.

I built my desktop PC a few years ago, before Wi-Fi became the standard MOBO add-on. After moving my computer to another room without an ethernet cable, I bought this device. For two years (11 months to be precise) it worked perfectly. During that time, it detected and connected my WiFi at the expected speed available on my network. I've often watched Netflix or YouTube in one window and browsed 20-80 tabs in another. (Yes, those #s are correct. I'm an artist.) Now, for the past two weeks, his ability to connect to Wi-Fi has been slow but increasingly crappy and weird; When it connects to the router it sees the network but says there is no internet and disconnects. To test the cause, I tried connecting it to my portable Wi-Fi cellular service and I got the same issue. It detects the device and connects but says there is no internet connection. I believe PC hardware should last and wanted to give it three stars; I added a fourth because I realized it lasted almost two years with daily use, although it felt like it was only a year. You know, hardware is good if you don't have to think about it.
