Battery already dead

This battery was delivered to our house on October 14, 2021. The window for returning it closed on January 31, 2022.What happened to the quality of products? Here it is, now March 20, 2022, and the battery is completely dead and it will not charge. It worked great for five months and now nothing. Now we have to purchase another new battery, but are apprehensive in doing so if each one is going to last for this very limited time. It may be worth it in the long run to just buy a new trimmer with batteries.

Does not hold a charge more than 10 minutes very disappointed
