Depends on your experience and usage

So I'm new to knitting but I've been crocheting for a long time. That's fine for knitting. For knitting? Nothing for a beginner. It tears easily, varying diameters are a problem, and smudging makes it difficult to see your stitches when doing anything other than Stockinette Stitch or Garter Stitch. I would give it a 4 for crocheting and a 2 for beginner knitting. It's softer than I thought after crocheting or knitting and I love the color variations. The price is great for making a whole scarf or multiple hats.
