Works great with Chromecast with Google TV.

The new CCwGTV is powered by a fully functional USB-C port. Since CCwGTV has minimal storage, I bought it to use a well-established USB3 flash drive (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08MB9G2GM) to increase its storage by 128GB to record with TiviMate. and the same. Works perfectly! To do this, use your computer to format the drive to FAT32. CCwGTV recognizes it and in the storage settings offers to reformat the hard drive to ext3 and treat it as internal storage. The process takes a few minutes and then you're done. This particular hub is more energy efficient than most and works well with the 7.5W power jack that comes with CCwGTV. You can of course use a larger stock if you want, but the point is, you probably don't have to. The gigabit ethernet port also works.

Pros
  • Transfer in seconds: 3 USB 3.0 ports synchronize data at lightning speed with up to 5 Gbit/s, up to 10x faster than USB 2.0 and backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1. Each port supports hot plugging.
Cons
  • So-so
