ATTENTION: The taillights do NOT have to be removed for installation! I installed them within an hour. You will need a #40 torx bit (a good one so you don't cut the latch bolts - I bought it from Ace Hardware) and a 1/8 or #33 bit nut to remove the tail light covers. GOOD NEWS! DO NOT REMOVE THE TAILLIGHTS! Take a small flathead screwdriver and apply a layer of tape or tape to the blade so you don't scratch the paint. VERY CAREFULLY pry the front of the taillight away from the vehicle body and the body armor clips will slide inward. BE VERY CAREFUL to align the bracket with the screw hole in the guard. The screws are machine-threaded, so take the time to line up the screw with the bracket and hole. You will need to drill holes for the driver's side guard, but I installed a small bracket to hold the guard in place and drilling was very easy. The screws are self-tapping and very reliable. I'm VERY HAPPY I bought them and they look amazing!
