Review on ABBA 2400 Nut Mix - 5lbs: The Perfect Blend of Nuts by Eric Hay

Pleased when the package arrived, looked good, the whole nut assortment is even good enough to not only eat my birds which will expire later this year, around September. The opened pack smelled inside and that was the first problem, it smelled stale like old cooking oil, I tried one of the nuts, it was so gross I couldn't wait to get it and the residue out of my mouth. I was pouring some into a container and there I saw all the blackened pecans, they were either totally dry and old or burned, then I started to find all the pecans as you can see both the nuts and the shell in the photos . Another photo of brown nuts I tried was terrible. I just hope that the company will send me a return label and refund my product and shipping costs as I was charged. I suspect someone packaged this product some time ago and the expiration date was recently stamped. Someone in the quality control department is either falsifying the actual expiration date or not checking the quality of the product. I can't eat it so shouldn't expect it to be good for my birds or make them sick. Before I buy again I want to get a sample bag and then decide if I ever give them my business again.
