ABBA 2400 Nut Mix - 5lbs: The Perfect Blend of Nuts Review

This is a big discount on quality knots for our birds! Unlike other brands that have all kinds of fillers. These are just the nuts our parrots love.

This mix does not match the picture and/or description. The mix I received (photo attached) is 95% peanuts. Given the picture that this would make a great shelled seed mix to add to our birds I was hoping for much better but it is not at all what is described. Don't waste your money - you can buy a bag of peanuts and add mixed nuts for a lot less.

Upon opening the package which was NOT vacuum sealed as advertised I noticed a musty musty smell. I figured it might just be the nature of the mix, but after trying one or two I found they were very rancid. Not only was it stale, and of course it never happened that the vacuum packaging could break during transport. They must have been old and stale for a long time to go so rancid. I checked the date on the box and they were supposedly good until December 2021 but there is no way. Bad product…

Pleased when the package arrived, looked good, the whole nut assortment is even good enough to not only eat my birds which will expire later this year, around September. The opened pack smelled inside and that was the first problem, it smelled stale like old cooking oil, I tried one of the nuts, it was so gross I couldn't wait to get it and the residue out of my mouth.
