I was looking for a bed divider to keep things from rolling around on the bed of my 2017 GMC Sierra 1500. I bought (and promptly returned) a separator from GMC that didn't fit my tonneau triple cover. I didn't think about the bed extension. I guess I just didn't take into account that it also doubles as a divider when folded inwards. I'm very glad I stumbled across this article at Revain. It was about half the price of the extension I returned and I'm very happy with it. It is lightweight and easy to remove/replace. It requires some assembly and installation. I was a little disappointed that the manufacturer didn't have an installation video available, but luckily I found a user who uploaded one to YouTube specifically for my truck model. This is something AMP Research should really give some thought to. Installation isn't difficult (if you know how. Thanks YouTube), but you will need to remove the taillights and drill two holes on each side. The instructions come with a VERY helpful template and in the end everything fits perfectly. I can absolutely recommend this item. Fits perfectly with my Tonneau GMC Triple Case. It does not interfere with the tonneau lid guides and leaves enough space both from the extension strap and on the side for easy opening/closing of the tonneau lid.
