Review on Samsung U32D970Q Professional Monitor - 3840x2160p, 55Hz, UHD by Ricky Bennett

I chose this one from the competition and I don't regret it. Being able to detect devices connected to the HDMI ports and control them with the TV's remote is very handy, although the controls require a lot of learning and require a lot of keystrokes to get the job done on the connected devices. Also, there are some features on my U-verse DVR that I haven't figured out. One great feature you won't read about is how it handles intermittent HDMI issues from my U-verse DVR. My old TV flickered for a while and then went off until I turned the TV off. Samsung gives a quick error message and after a short time a blank screen. Very good. Each of the default picture modes is slightly different from my preference. But the expert settings allow me to tweak them, so I'm very happy with the image quality. I'm a photographer, so it's important to me to present my images well. This is the first TV I will use to view them, which I do from my website using the built-in browser or mobile. I also like having a separate cable box and only one cable to the TV as it makes it easier to mount on a wall mount. It should be noted that you must use the spacers supplied with the TV 4 to mount the wall bracket, as the cut-outs are too narrow for the spacers supplied with the wall bracket kits. This is a problem as the standoffs are too long for the screws that come with the wall mount kits and screws of the correct length are not supplied with the TV. So you should expect to go to the hardware store.
