Great capture for the price! You could spend twice as much and not do much better. 5 out of 5 for price, performance and sound. 3 out of 5 for appropriateness. The fit in my 2012 Cooper Countryman S was VERY tight. K&N could do a little more research and development on this increasingly popular vehicle. The new upper airbox is now touching the skin over the firewall and I had to remove the lower airbox by disconnecting its hoses to put it back in place. Not that hard, but it added an extra 20-30 minutes of troubleshooting not covered in the instructions. I have to frequently check for signs of wear and may need to chalk and cut out part of the top box (fingers crossed). I'll update this post if I notice increased wear on the panels covering the battery, cabin filter, and wiper motor assemblies. *Edit* The fit is too tight for this car. The torque motion of the engine will cause the upper airbox to rub against the firewall and potentially damage the lower airbox.
