Review on ACDelco GF835 Professional Fuel Filter by Abdirahman Mensah

I just installed this on my Saturn Vue. My course of action was to remove the fuel filter fuse from the fuse box, run the car until the engine kills itself (to depressurize the fuel system), jack the car up slightly to make it easier to access from underneath, to remove the fuel tank bracket. Filter with a combination wrench, disconnect fuel line to engine from fuel filter, collect fuel from fuel line and fuel flowing through filter into large sump, wait for fuel flow to stop (about 1/8 gallon), disconnect fuel lines to the filter, remove the old filter, put the new filter in the bracket FIRST, then securely fasten the fuel lines. Then put the fuse back in the right slot, start the car and you're done. This was my first time changing a fuel filter but I thought it would only cost about $18 to change the filter and was told it costs about $100. for parts and labor so I gave it a try. At times I was slow and confused trying to remove the filter and fuel lines, but in hindsight the process wasn't very difficult.
