It worked perfectly on my Dewalt!

We made it. I've used them in a variety of styles to expose and carve the fiberglass covered wood stringers in my boat. I could easily burn through ten of these in a matter of hours on my 20v battery Dewalt. No glitches other than a blunt cut in 1/4" to 1/2" thick fiberglass and a few hardened screws. They probably work well with nails, but hardened screws will burn them up in seconds. I've learned to avoid screws and later smash them with a grinder. They also didn't like the fiberglass reinforced lining material into which the stringers were inserted. The chuck was too flexible and could close on the blade and get stuck in the tool. A wider notch on the blades would really help for the purpose I used them for. No problem cutting wood that was still in good condition. I read that other users had problems installing them on Dewalt tools but in my case they fit perfectly. The Dewalt I have was just bought for this project so this is the latest model.

Pros
  • Practical thing
