Not very versatile in the garage

Absolutely useless. You can't mount them on the garage ceiling to detect movement underneath. They only work when sitting on a table or leaning against a wall. If you don't have outlets everywhere, they're useless. 24 hours after the garage light came on, we went to Menard and instead got a wireless motion sensor - made by GE, which was much more convenient and had a longer range - and a wireless sensor that works with a wireless outlet. No need for cables that are too short or too long to fit in our garage. Menard's wireless motion sensors are only a few dollars more, but they work and are more versatile. save your money We would return the Westek Motion Sensor, but you must cut the packaging to receive the product.
