From time to time unusual designs come to my mind. For example my new wooden shed, which I wanted to give a unique piece and a touch of craftsmanship. So I cut all these giant hickory logs and hauled them from all over the site to where they are being built. Hmm.. how do you build it? I finally settled on a block frame that included four studs on each side, a crossbar (block) at the top, and horizontal members along the base and midway. So I ended up with 44 mortise and tenon joints and it wasn't easy let me tell you. After trying to cut spikes at the ends of all horizontals. I finally ordered a pack of these blades and they saved my bacon. Cutting extremely hard solid green wood caused other blades to smoke and dull quickly. But these guys were just making fun of the grain. Yes, despite the cost. They are the best and most durable in my opinion.
