Review on 🔒 ACDelco GM GT231 Fuel Tank Filler Cap, Black - Original Equipment by Brandon Carraway

I bought this cover because it is listed as OEM and it fits my car. Shortly after installing the cover, the check engine light came on. Along with the check engine light, I got a message to unscrew the gas cap. So before I went to the auto doctor, I put the old cap back on, just in case. The check engine light wouldn't go off, so I decided to go to the doctor. But two days later the light went out and stayed. I'm told the sensors run multiple tests before they change one way or the other. Thus, it is obvious that the stated years of cover are wrong or the cover is just junk. Buy a cap where you can return it. Otherwise you're just wasting your money.
