Review: Happy Trends doormat arrived quickly. Judging by my photos, it was folded in four, causing a curvature in length... I tried folding it so that the fold was reversed, but it didn't help. It wasn't a major problem for me, but for those with mobility issues it can cause someone to trip. The rug has a beautiful design and is flat as described and fits perfectly under a swing door. As for absorbency. : I went outside with my shoes in the mud and went in, carefully stepping on a white rag on the outside to show dirty stains (see photo of a white rag with boot prints). moved his feet a little and then stepped on a white towel, holding his boots tight. The boots crumpled the towel but when I smoothed the towel the dirt wasn't visible. Yes! (See video.) I tried again but didn't step on the outer white lobe. The Happy Trends doormat helped me get my boots clean again and it was just as absorbent as advertised. So my rating is as follows: 1. Looks great2. Absorption is excellent. State upon arrival…. Condition is good except the carpet does not lay flat. Bottom Line: If you're not worried about the rug laying flat, this is a great rug at a great price!
