Review on Hilom Fuel Pump for Kawasaki 49040-7001 808656 491922 Generator Engine GC135 GC160 GC190 GX610 GX620 GX670 GXV530 GXV610 GXV620 GXV670 by Aaron Hawk

I fitted this to a Honda GC160 engine replacing the original fuel pump which I estimate was at least 19 years old and looked like his. I also replaced the carburetor with an identical OEM Honda carburetor. Before that the engine just wouldn't run and didn't even look like it would start - no signs of combustion. The engine came alive with a new fuel pump and carburettor, started on the second pull and now runs smoothly. This fuel pump was a perfect fit for the original OEM pump and required no modifications or anything. My engine is now humming and I have had no problems with this pump so far, no stalling or erratic running and no leaks. Seems better than the original.
