Good quality pads - well made and solid. This review is actually more of a warning to people who need it to light up fixtures that are already installed. If you have existing lighting fixtures and the center tube in the mounting bracket assembly is not routed in exactly the right place in relation to the side panel, this product will not work. The hole is in the center of the stand. In our case, every light we tried on was set too high or too low in the siding overlap to be able to slide the back over the mounting tube and lean the back against the siding overlap. Just confusion for us, but it's possible this could be the case for other people as well. We can try expanding the hole or drilling a new hole in the pair to see if we have enough room to lift them and seat them properly without exposing the original punch. I re-read the reviews and found that many of the high ratings are given to people who have used them for lights that have a lot of flexibility behind the wall. Sensors, solar lights etc should work fine with these mounting plates and I will reiterate they look good and are of good quality. Just be careful if you need them for wired lights with a heavier mount.
