This product appeared to be compatible and also came with a tool to remove the seal. A lube has also been included to be applied around the sealing area to ensure a snug fit. I compared the gasket to the old one and it was almost the same. Unfortunately, mine probably wasn't a gasket. I called Whirlpool and they told me that if the o-ring didn't fix my leak I would need to replace the bypass valve. I wish changing the o-rings would help, but that didn't happen in my situation. Overall quality was very comparable to OEM parts.
