Review on Patons Classic Wool Roving Yarn by Amy Mcleod

Not bad for a mass production shop Signature Yarn

Bought this because I needed a bulky yarn to make a quick sweater and I also wanted it to be inexpensive. This yarn cost more than I was willing to pay for a mass brand and while it was cheaper at JoAnn's and elsewhere, they didn't have the colors I wanted. The yarn wasn't bad at all. Other reviewers said it felt like real vagrancy. No, that is not so. There is a yarn twist. I also had no problem splitting it up as some others have mentioned. My biggest complaint is that they didn't clean the yarn well. I kept collecting and I can only hope it was straw as I walked along. One skein also had a knot in the yarn. I hate that. There was also decent stitch definition with a nice halo. I'm not sure I would buy it again. Definitely not online as it was more expensive. But if I needed bulky yarn and the store had good colors, I could do it.
