Good product, read this before buying and fitting it to your Tundra

Bought this kit for my 2005 Tundra 4 seater 4wd cab. The leveling blocks are made from high quality CNC machined aluminum approximately 1.125 inches thick. Many reviews speak of the easy installation. Maybe for some truck models but not so easy for Tundra. Here are some tips to help you make your work easier and faster. : 1. After you have removed the strut assembly and before installing the spacer, you will first need to grind about 3/8" from each of the strut mounting bolts on the top of the strut so they sit flush or under the top of the spacer, the one from above screwing back into the strut upper support in the wheel arch 2. Everything I've read said to remove the rear lower arm brackets to make it easier to install the lower strut bracket BS This can be done at the First generation Tundra cannot be done without first removing the steering knuckles as the rear bolt on the control arm cannot be removed unless the steering knuckle is removed first. You do not need to remove or remove the skid plate (I have a number of Seen websites that also talked about resetting the skid plate. Everywhere above). 3. S instead, you must remove the four bolts that attach the ball joint assembly to the lower control arm to the wheel hub. Along with loosening the upper arm outer bolt, tie rods and other small parts holding the suspension assembly together (including unscrewing the ABS sensors), you can move the wheel hub assembly to one side while using the lower arm. control lever down. I literally had to stand on the passenger side and push with all my might while my wife struggled to install the bottom mounting bolt. However, this is the secret to getting the movement and leverage needed to reinstall the bottom bar mount after the knot has been screwed to the top mount. In particular, it's not quite as simple as that little spacer block makes the most of the available vertical space between the top and bottom rack mounts and more. 4. When loosening the ball joint assembly, you will need to place a jack under the ball joint bolt under the lower control arm and raise the hanger a few inches to relieve the tension on the assembly. Once the screws are out, you can remove the jack. Now the forearm has maximum range of motion and you can move the hub and brake assembly to the side giving you more working space and a better working angle. Reassembly is done in reverse order, but first it will take a tremendous amount of effort to push the lower arm down far enough to snap the lower strut mount back into the bracket on the arm while a second set of hands install the strut mounting bolt. . My wife quickly inserted a 3/8" steel punch partially through one side of the bracket to hold everything in place. This gave us both a chance to get some rest and the punch became a good lever that helped her line things up. and insert the screw from the other side. You will then need to use the jack again to raise the outer portion of the lower control arm so that the ball joint assembly can be bolted back onto the hub assembly. You'll need to lift it 4-6 inches so the two assemblies are aligned and close enough for the bolt threads to thread. As this is an essential part of steering and controlling the truck, these bolts should be tightened as tight as possible when reinstalling. I lay down to make sure I had as much leverage as possible while tightening. 5. Notwithstanding the fact that you didn't drop the wishbones, you must level the truck immediately, as spacers interfere with vertical towing by tilting the bottom of the wheel in about an inch. If you follow these instructions, you will save yourself. hours of sadness. It took me about three frustrating hours of fiddling with spring compressors and all that other first hand nonsense before I got the idea to loosen the ball joint assembly from the hub. The other side took less than an hour from start to finish with no broken knuckles (broke a bunch trying to figure out the first side). Happy spinning!
