Review on SearchChoice 20931 Outboard 🔍 Engine Fuel/Water Separating Filter Kit, 10µm by Ryan Reiter

Internal drain valve seal worn after 3 months of use. I've only opened/closed the valve twice since installing it, so I know it's not from overuse. I tried pumping fuel into my outboard with the fuel pump plunger and found that the pumping didn't get "heavier" so I checked the water separator on the transom and of course the valve on the underside of the motor. The filter drained fuel every time I primed the bulb. I'm going ahead with a closed filter design to avoid further deterioration of the gasket/seal/sleeve in the future.
