It needs a little tweaking, but it works!
My brother gave me an Apple TV and gave it to my girlfriend. She set up her TV and showed zero cable. She told me she just didn't want the wires to be visible and that it didn't look garish. I bought this mount but didn't realize it was too big for my Apple TV. I had an extra velcro strap so I pulled it through the back and used it to hold the Apple TV in the mount. The attachment is very strong. I was surprised when I realized it was metal. I used the screws that came with it and just slipped them into the studs to ensure a secure fit. All in all it worked.
