Great cutting board
The wood on this cutting board is just great. The color is deep and rich. After using the board a few times the wood started to lift and felt rough. After reading many other reviews from other companies, I found this to be a common problem. I kept smearing it with mineral oil and then read an article from a carpenter that said to put a damp cloth on the board and let it sit for a few minutes to lift the wood and then I sanded it down with very fine sandpaper sanded down. After that I lubricated the board several times with mineral oil. I often try to smear with oil, let dry and wipe with a dry cloth. Do your homework and read a lot about the care of wooden cutting boards. I am very satisfied with this product and recommend it!
