Got a nailing tool for a very cheap price from a small thrift store only to take it home to find that it doesn't drive a nail, only one trigger little air leaking around when I pull the trigger. Just had to knock out the two roller pins and axle for the trigger (be careful these latches are a bit fragile) and then pull out the trigger/safety. Put the new one in straight, put the pins back in, slide the trigger and push the swivel bar back in and secure with a bracket (they were supposed to have two of those brackets in this kit) and the gun now works like new . As annoying as it is to have a tool with such a known failure mode, the fact that the porter cable made it VERY easy to change and the part is VERY cheap makes me happy. There aren't enough user-maintainable things, and there's no good reason for that.
