These nuts only got an excellent one star rating because I was able to fit them so they ended up being usable. A slight deviation would almost be forgivable, but these nuts were about 3mm wider and about 2mm taller to fit a standard 4040 extrusion channel. The actual geometric profile of the nut is also wrong; Even if the mother was the right size, it still wouldn't fit. When it comes to 4040, these nuts are like trying to put a square pin in a round hole. These things are just rubbish. I'll tell you what: They're incredibly expensive, so that's great.
