Great Contact - Nuts

They're great for a good grip; They have plenty of surface area so they don't spin in the 2020 aluminum channel. I use them on my 3D printer and have replaced all the old nuts with them.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Lots of Stuff

For my last project I wanted to create a "real" case for my next firewall build (PF-Sense, using one of my redundant ATX -Mobile devices and processors x86). I chose an open frame because the other cases were either too big or too small. and honestly i wanted to challenge so i built my own. I used a couple of these slide nuts to hold the motherboard into the 2020 support bars (see picture), plus 5 of these with thumbscrews to hold the peripheral cards. everything, everything I've used was well…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Poorly made, doesn't fit at all 4080 (double 4040) aluminum profile

These nuts only got an excellent one star rating because I was able to fit them so they ended up being usable. A slight deviation would almost be forgivable, but these nuts were about 3mm wider and about 2mm taller to fit a standard 4040 extrusion channel. The actual geometric profile of the nut is also wrong; Even if the mother was the right size, it still wouldn't fit. When it comes to 4040, these nuts are like trying to put a square pin in a round hole. These things are just rubbish. I'll…

Ideal for installing on a 3D printer

These nuts are ideal for the thumbscrews that come with the Creality 3D printer. The nuts make it easy to move the spool mount from the control box to the top of the printer frame without additional tools or 3D printed parts.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

Powered by Creality CR-6

I found it helpful when other buyers confirmed that this T-Nut would fit Creality Ender 3 printers so I wanted to "pass" it and let you know that this T-Nut also fits Creality CR-6 SE and CR-6 MAX printers. I'm using my T-Nuts to make a filament holder for the top of my CR-6 MAX to reduce this printer's already huge footprint.

Poorly finished, doesn't fit at all 4080 (double 4040) aluminum profile

These nuts only got a nice star because I was able to twist them to fit so they could be used later the distance I had to make, they really weren't the same product anymore. A slight deviation would almost be forgivable, but these nuts were about 3mm wider and about 2mm taller to fit a standard 4040 extrusion channel. The actual geometric profile of the nut is also wrong; Even if the mother was the right size, it still wouldn't fit. On the 4040, these nuts are equivalent to trying to put a…
