Constant Problems with Networking Products

This little thing comes in very handy for those of you who frequently lose your internet connection because you're nowhere near your router. After installing the software and connecting this little kid, I can actually see Wi-Fi connections from across the street and a little further. I was concerned about this because some people said it slows down the connection and as a player I wouldn't want to be without it. I get EXACTLY the same download speeds when I'm in my room as when I'm two floors below me by my router. It's pretty incredible and a lot easier and more affordable than lugging my router up two floors. I'm only giving it 4 stars because it's a bit too big for my taste. Undoubtedly a lot smaller than other wireless adapters (that I've seen around 2 inches), but still more than I'd like (around 1 inch). If the size was halved I would be happier. It doesn't protrude beyond the plug of my laptop's power adapter, so it's not too bad for me, but for other laptops it can be a deal breaker. ------------ -------------------------------------- ------------ ->> 1 MONTH UPDATE:------------------------------ - ----------------------------------------- ------------------->> I have downgraded this to 3 stars as i keep having issues with it sometimes not being recognized when i plug it into my computer. . This is very frustrating and not very convenient to disconnect and reconnect until it is detected. I made sure it wasn't just the USB port by trying almost every other USB device I have and sure enough, that's the minor problem type. To be honest, the longer I do this, the more problems it causes me. I'm starting to think this should be avoided.
