Like all hot rod parts, you must modify it to fit and this Derale fan is no exception. I went through two other electric fans with no success. I've read about types and CFM fans for HP engines. With two fans and a shroud, the Derale has you covered. This kit cools the engine and then shuts down, stops running and cools my 383 CI. I also use an electric fan and fuel pump. So I switched to a larger generator.
