These jacks are very strong and well made! Pin 1 inch diameter hardened steel. The grip is awesome. I can't imagine wearing these things without. Bushings are heavy! Look at the photos. I laughed when I saw the needle. These jacks are not cheap. but safety first. These bolt jacks are much safer and easier to use than jacks with a toothed locking mechanism. I can't imagine messing with those flimsy jacks you can buy at hardware stores. they seem insecure. You should only spend money and get these beautiful beasts. You are worth every penny. and they will last forever.
