Review on πŸ”Œ Denso 234-4622 Downstream Oxygen Sensor: Black, 4-Terminal Plug – Ultimate Efficiency by Peter Green

Revainrating 5 out of 5

06 Rav4 - 4 Cyclinder - Check Engine, 4WD, VSC and ABS lights removed!

After installing the O2 sensor the light would not come on. Works fantastic. FYI I changed the fuel ratio sensor at the same time as the O2 sensor, the two look the same and work together. Save yourself a $600 bill at the store. Note: Make sure your car is cold to the bone before doing any work or you will burn yourself. 1. Buy a $10 O2 sensor plug at the store or here at Revain to help you remove these devices.2. Use WD40 or any other suitable penetrating chemical you have and spray on, leave for 5-10 minutes. Disconnect the car battery 4. Unscrew it and screw in a new one, put the electrical plugs back into their respective slots and you're done. After you put everything back together, when you start the car, it idles for a while and feels like it stalls. This is normal, and it is because your car's ECU or computer chip is recalibrating the oxygen and fuel levels. Just drive for a while and eventually the rough idle will go away. It may take more than a few rides for that ugly idle to go away. If you have a 4 cylinder Rav4, the O2 sensor is NOT under the driver's side, it's on the passenger side (most youtube videos say it's on the driver's side). driver side, this is for v6 rav4). Just follow the exhaust pipe to the cat's converter/motor (as you can see I'm not an automotive tech and did my job) and you'll see it near the passenger side. Thank you Denso! I am definitely satisfied with the product. FYI: BIG. The difference in fuel efficiency after replacing these two parts. I'm definitely driving to work more often now before I need to fill up and all my dash lights are gone now, Check Engine, 4WD, VSC and ABS lights!
