Less reception than E5172 internal antenna - fragile base
I bought this to use with the Huawei E5172. The device measures that when this antenna is connected, the reception level is LOWER than when using the internal built-in antenna E5172. The base is so small and so light that it cannot be held upright unless you use double-sided tape or attach it to a metal surface. The antenna itself is just a piece of wire. Conversion to a small Yagi.
