Review on 🌡️ AcuRite 00620A2 Silver Stainless Steel Oven Thermometer by Elizabeth Anderson

In an oven preheated to 450 degrees, my newly purchased Acurite thermometer read 350 degrees. After placing the thermocouple probe in the oven, I found that the average oven temperature was acceptably close to 450 degrees. This means that Acurite is far from the norm. I should have given it back to Revane but instead I threw it in the trash in disgust and chalked it up to education instead of buying a cheap oven thermometer. By the way, there is no way to configure the device. This is a sealed block.
