Review on BeaverCraft Deluxe Wood Carving Tools by Tara Ford
Great set for beginners and advanced users.
Disclaimer: I received this item free of charge from Beavercraft. This did not affect my rating in any way. Pros: Nice sheath, good compound sling, wide range of knives with decent cutting edge on the blades (give them a quick sling and they cut like butter). Cons: The handles could use some sanding (you can see in the photo they are a bit rough in places) and due to the shape of the handles I can see them end up slipping out of the carry case when worn in some way. Overall, this is a great set for beginners and facilitators like me. I'm no pro, but I did my fair share of carving. I've included a '5 Minute Maker' picture to show how clean cuts can be with these knives. They handled edge roughness better than my other set from Beavercraft.
