We had an issue with someone tearing posters off bulletin boards. I bought it to catch a criminal. I was more than impressed by that. First, it was very easy to install on my Mac. I've never had to resort to formatting storage through an adapter connected to my Mac. I simply inserted a micro memory card into the camera, connected the camera to my Mac and formatted the memory as "MS-DOS (FAT)" using Disk Utility. Then he was ready. The finish is matte black with no glitter, so glitter is unlikely to draw attention if placed in an inconspicuous spot. Pinhole lens so nobody sees the "lens" and knows they're being shot. This is the top of the pinhole. The downside is that the image can be grainy in low light, as pinhole lenses severely limit the amount of light that reaches the sensor. Therefore light is needed; no IR illumination from the camera. This wasn't a problem for me as low light conditions were always available. Perhaps best of all for me, the battery lasted five days and might have lasted longer, but I was willing to take it off and see what it records. . It was still functional. It cost a little more, but I'm glad I got it. I am very happy with this camera.
