So easy, even a 77 year old can do it
They were very easy to install on my 2000 Chevy Suburban and fit perfectly. It took less than 5 minutes which was great in 18 degree weather. A stepladder is a good way to hold up the hatch, but I needed a helper for the actual installation. You have to raise the sunroof all the way to install the struts and at 77 I'm not strong enough to do it with one hand and install the struts with the other. When my wife fully raised the sunroof, the pillars snapped easily into place. Now the sunroof raises and lowers easily and stays up. I didn't realize how long my postures were bad.
