Easy install cheap works well

Installation couldn't be easier. Works great on a 2002 Tahoe. For the price and ease of installation, there's no point in messing around with a sagging door.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No automatic

Perfect fit, 2 minutes installation!

The item was very well priced and worked great. Installation, including removing the old racks and installing a new pair, took less than 3 minutes.

Installed them myself!

I installed them myself on my 2003 Suburban. I watched a video on You Tube, used a ladder to support the sunroof and installed it myself with a flat head screwdriver. Just Pisi!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Protection

Good Replacement Best of Lift Legs

I replaced my worn out liftgate legs on my 2002 Tahoe. Installation is easy IF you remember to just drag/paste the old/new supports. I installed them a few months ago and they work perfectly.

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Almost OK

One was missing an end piece

One of the tailgate dampers was missing a piece at the end. I tried using the old one but the threads were a different size. I ended up just using a good one and it seems to be holding the tailgate up. I found that one of the old dampers was stronger than the other and kept it with the new one. Revain refunded my shopping credit.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

quick and good for parts

The tailgate pillars were just what I needed and fairly easy to install. As advertised, only a small screwdriver (blade width 1/8 inch) is required to remove the old and the new racks. It is helpful to have a second person to hold and adjust the tailgate height when changing pillars. This applies to replacing the tailgate pillar and the tailgate itself. I did both at the same time.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Only available in white

The outriggers are too long in the lift legs

I have a 2013 Suburban, it proved to be the right outriggers. The posts are too long, I had to use a jack to compress them to install them, but once installed they didn't hold the overhead gate. The end that connects to the gate wasn't angled like the OEMs I replaced, it didn't stay upright because the strut couldn't be fully extended and then got stuck somehow. I should have known the price was too high. OK, OEM is $37 each. We are waiting for the seller to approve the return request. The…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

So easy, even a 77 year old can do it

They were very easy to install on my 2000 Chevy Suburban and fit perfectly. It took less than 5 minutes which was great in 18 degree weather. A stepladder is a good way to hold up the hatch, but I needed a helper for the actual installation. You have to raise the sunroof all the way to install the struts and at 77 I'm not strong enough to do it with one hand and install the struts with the other. When my wife fully raised the sunroof, the pillars snapped easily into place. Now the sunroof…

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Minor issues
