I've noticed this with other cars and wanted to be noticed too. This LED strobe controller is easy to install with minimal electrical knowledge. I wanted to install it in such a way that it can be easily switched back to the default version if any authorities object. I used the male and female connectors to beef up the controller with the two wires going to the third LED brake light. I accessed the wires and made sure there were enough of them to be stripped, twisted and crimped with a connector. Remember what color the wire is, as one is the power wire (white or red) and the other is the ground wire (black or green). I put plugs on the wires coming from the car (i.e. fuse box) and sockets on the wires going to the LED light. Control cables are supplied pre-stripped. I twisted the wire, trimmed the excess and crimped the male terminals on the "out" side and the "female" terminals on the "in" side. Remembering which wires were power and which were ground, I connected the red wires from the controller to the power wire in the car and the black wires to the ground wire in the car. This allows the controller to be removed and the original car wires easily reconnected and reconfigured back to a solid red third brake light. I hit the brake pedal and saw the reflection of four very fast flashes, four slow flashes, and then solid red. I got this in a 40F garage in 45 minutes. You can use scotchlock connectors if you're lazy, but I think they look sloppy. I am very satisfied with this easy to install controller. If I slow down or stop and see someone approaching me from behind, I step on the brake pedal. Each strobe sequence of four fast/four slow strobes lasts about two seconds. Remember that you must have an LED indicator for this controller to work.
