Review on 🚧 TreadSafe Non-Slip Carpet Stair Treads - Set of 15, 8"x30" - Non Slip Backing for Safety & Grip for Kids, Elders, and Dogs (Brown) by Ray Welchhance

We needed something on our wooden ladder to help our aging dog descend safely and protect the ladder from her claws. I didn't want to install a long-distance runner. These protectors work perfectly. They don't have tacky adhesive but they stay in place. I've uninstalled and "reinstalled" them a few times and they still hold up like they did when they were new. They look a bit industrial and show signs of wear after only a few months. But since they are easy to put on and take off, you can take them off for special occasions/visitors. I used the brush attachment to vacuum. I put them in the washing machine once and wasn't thrilled. The back seemed to collect dust and dirt. I was afraid it would affect the grip so I wiped the back with a wet towel after it dried. I'll probably just do this and vacuum them in the future unless something gets on the part of the carpet that needs water. Highly recommended if you need a temporary solution for a safer stair and/or stair protection.
